Job Search Skills Series
Wednesday October 7, 2009
7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Meeting Room
Online Applications and Forms
As more professions turn to the Internet as a resource for finding talent, you need to learn what to expect in this electronic job search community. How do you evaluate a site for its potential in your particular industry or job search campaign? What technical requirements must you consider in applying or posting your resume? What cautions do you need to observe? What are the alternatives to the job search engine approach?  Join this session to learn how and when to move your job search online.  Registration is required.

Wherever you are on your job search path, the Reading Public Library welcomes you to join our Job Search Skills Series. Each month we’ll focus on a different topic and allow ample time for  questions and group participation. The series programs take place at the Library on the first Wednesday night of the month. Elaine Ohlson will facilitate the sessions in collaboration with other professionals who bring special knowledge of key job search skills. Elaine’s co-presenter for the Online Applications and Forms session is Andrew Furst of FreshPath Consulting.
