Over the River and Through the Woods by playwright and author Joe DiPietro will be read by local actors on Monday, February 22, 7pm in the Hubbard Room at Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown.  This play is a tender, delightfully humorous family comedy dealing with an essentially serious subject: the fragmenting of families in our age of easy movement and long-distance relationships.  Among other Broadway and off-Broadway works, DiPietro wrote the book and lyrics for the long running off-Broadway show I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
