Henry and Sonia, charged with hosting a dinner party for one of Henry's colleagues and his wife, are in the midst of an ordinary evening's activities and dealing with their cranky infant son, when the doorbell rings and their guests arrive a full day eairlier than planned.  With the consumption of much wine and little food, secrets and confidences are exposed and professional and personal conflicts aris as the same scene is enacted three times with slight but significant variations.
