“A Cop’s Tale” Author at Russell Library

Craig Elkin, a retired sergeant from the Middletown Police Department, will discuss his recently published book A Cop’s Tale: Amusing Short Stories Written at the Expense of Others on Monday, March 18 at 7pm in the Hubbard Room at Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown.  The book is about the lighter side of his 27 years in the city police department. The book describes some of Elkin's more memorable moments – some with rude or funny law-breakers, some about his ineptitude dealing with animal calls.  Elkin was also a 15 year member of the Police Department SWAT Team and the chief accident investigator for Middletown.
