We often think of prophets as those who predict the future or spew vehement pronouncements. Yet the Bible shows prophets who fulfill all kinds of roles in a fascinating array of situations.   Join us for this creative and interactive series that takes a closer look at the men—and women—whom the Hebrew Bible casts in prophetic roles. How did they speak to their people, and what message do they bring for us today?

Julie Faith Parker has a Ph.D. in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible from Yale University, where she currently teaches.  She is the author of four books and numerous articles.
