The workshop will include lessons on creating characters using shape, art styles, cover a brief history of the artform and then feature a hands on how to demo, offering techniques and tricks for storytelling. ANDY FISH studied art at The School of Visual Arts in New York City as well as Rhode Island School of Design, and has also attended Clark University School at the Worcester Art Museum and Worcester State College. He currently teaches youth and adult art programs at the Higgins Education Wing of the Worcester Art Museum as well as at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. In this 2-hour workshop, presented by CTWorkshop, you will learn the principles of stop-motion animation, story-telling, and camera work while working in pairs to film your creation.
