Part book discussion, part Socrates Cafe we spend some time reviewing cool stuff we have recently read then we launch into open-ended discussions about existential issues that occur to us through our lives and the books we read.

In the summer, we meet from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Kindergarten and up.  Drop in and have some fun building with Legos.  Let your imagination fly!  Held in the Children's Program Room.  No registration required.

Overwhelmed by all of the apps available to help children learn? Attend a fun, enlightening discussion by Sean Sweeney, speech/language pathologist and technology specialist, who will discuss the most current and dynamic apps available to help children acquire skills in language and beyond. Mr. Sweeney consults to local and national organizations on technology integration in speech and language interventions. Registration is required and can be done via the hand icon which will appear Thursday, March 14 at 10 a.m. This program is cosponsored by the Duxbury Free Library and SEPAC, the special education  parent advisory council.

Come explore the textures, shapes and movements of different LIVE tidepool animals with staff from the New England Aquarium. Program is designed for children UNDER age three with an adult. Space is limited and registration begins Tuesday, April 23 by phone at 781-934-2721 x115 or in person at the children's department help desk. Event is funded by a CFCE grant.
