Emmy Award winning television journalist Diane Smith will take you through a four-season celebration of our State in her new book, Seasons of Connecticut:  A Year Round Celebration of the Nutmeg State.  Seasons of Connecticut is a full-color presentation of more than sixty vignettes that will make you feel good about living in Connecticut.  
 
 
Copies of the book will be available for purchase.  Start early on holiday gifts!    
 
Our presenter Diane Smith has been a CT television journalist since 1982.  For CPTV she hosts the two series Positively Connecticut and All Things Connecticut.  She has also been a news anchor and reporter for WTNH TV and a radio co-host.

During that time he has also consulted with Fortune 500 corporations and taught employment law and human resource management on a variety of college campuses.

Wildlife and Connecticut's Changing Landscape

Summer's here and see outdoor life at the Library! 
 
Bev Propen, a licensed Master Wildlife Conservationist and docent at the CT Audubon Coastal Center in Milford, will present a history of CT landscapes and wildlife. After the show, there will be live 'bioprops' such as bones, animal skins, pinecones, nuts, feathers, and footprint molds, to help you recognize items when you are out on a hike!  Open seating. Doors open at 6:15pm.  Please drop in. 

Tonight's presentation was created by the CT Dept of Environmental Protection, Wildlife Division. Bev also holds a Master of Library Science degree.
