Thursday, July 08 4:00PM-5:00PM Meeting Room 2 | Teen Writing Group
Join us this summer in a creative writing group for teens. Teens will learn about the writing process through a variety of writing prompts and art activities. Teens will create their own characters, write their own stories and participate in fun prompts to help them get the creativity going. Come join the fun and see what you can create through writing and art. This drop-in group for kids in grades 4 and up will meet from 4-5 on Thursday July 8 and 24 and on Thursday, August 5 and 19. Please note, the meeting on August 26 will be held in Reading Room 3. |  |

Now that summer is here, there are few activities nicer than walking. Whether it's hiking in the woods or walking down a city street, summer is the time to get out and walk! Adding to the pleasure is an activity that more and more people are discovering – letter boxing. Following clues that lead you to a hidden “letterbox”, in which you’ll find an inkpad and pad to mark with your own personal stamp.
