Topics like composition, framing and lighting will be discussed. In May, we will follow up with a class in digital editing techniques using GIMP, a free open-source software, which we have on the library computers. This is a workshop taught by Russell Library staff member Jason Neely; a photographer whose work has been published. This workshop and the one in May is in anticipation of a teen photography contest, details of which will appear soon.
