Kathy Stevens will show how to weave with recycled plastic bags. Each
child will have their own loom and they will be able to weave small
item.Class size limited to 8 children in a group, and for ages 8 and up.

Who would have thought you
could make an entire show out of yo-yos? This
husband and wife duo bring back that nostalgic toy, reminding you of old
favorite tricks such as Walk the Dog and Rock
the Baby,
then
amazing you with new and bizarre tricks, such as Boingy-Boingy and
Iron Whip.
Yo-yos attached
to bouncy balls, yo-yos with 10-foot
strings, and multiple yo-yos looping while hula hooping and unicycling
are just
some of their finely tuned feats. High skill and deft timing to swingin'
music
coupled with high energy and sarcastic humor make the Yo-Yo People a

Founded in 1993 by Anne Ware and Peter Schaefer, Tanglewood Marionettes is a nationally touring marionette theater based in New England.
A terrible drought has overtaken the land and all the world has turned brown and lifeless. The Dragon King is ruler of the waters and the people are beginning to wonder why he has not brought the precious rains in such a very long time. An underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore, Tanglewood Marionettes' latest production tells the tale of a wise Grandmother who journeys to the bottom of the sea to seek the Dragon King and the anwers to why he has forsaken the land above. With colorful sea creatures, an exciting adventure and all the visual splendor that audiences have come to expect from a Tanglewood Marionettes production, THE DRAGON KING is a heart-warming tale that will thrill young and old.

Ed the Wizard will present his program 'Reading is Magic.' Using many volunteers, he weaves reading and magic together along with laughter, using a bit of comedy and suspense. With reading as the emphasis behind each magical performance, Ed the Wizard encourages folks of all all ages to know that reading is indeed the key to success! This program is supported by a Littleton Cultural Council grant.

Come in and make your own fairy house to bring home in a basket. It would be helpful if you could gather some things in your backyard before you come to class. Suggested items would be: moss, twigs, little animals or fairies or anything else you would want to include in your fairy house. Sue Cummings, from the Littleton Country Gardeners, will guide you in the process and you will go home with a lovely house ready for fairy occupation.Class size is limited and for ages 5 and up.
