The museum closes at 3PM on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.  The museum opens at noon on New Year's day.

Consists of 2 museums: Science Museum and Children's  Museum. Pass admits 3 visitors at 1/2 price ($5.50) to both museums. Children under 1 are admitted free. Before booking check museum website for times when both museums are reserved for school groups only. Also in September one of the two museums may be closed or there are afternoon hours only. Monday -Friday passes admits 4 visitors. Saturday pass & Sunday/Monday holiday pass admit 2 visitors. Children under 18 are admitted free. $5 admission charged at the museum for all library pass users. ***Temporarily due to crowds at new addition- timed admissions are given out on the half hour.

Pass is for day use only and CANNOT be used for camping. Please see state park website www.massparks.org for locations pass can be used. Or check with Customer Services at the Library for a list of parks. WEEKEND PICKUP on Friday at the earliest.

Children 6 and under are free; children 7-17 are admitted for $7.50 school days until 3 PM. At all other times persons 17 and under are admitted free. (Coupon pass does not need to be returned) $8 special exhibition upgrade subject to availability.
