| The Museum Pass Manager |

The LibraryInsight Museum Pass Manager provides a means by which patrons can "Request a HOLD" via the Web on Museum Passes from home, school or office. Using the Web, Patrons can view the availability of Museum Passes and read the specific guidelines of each pass in terms of number of people it will admit, amount of discount is will provide, etc. Once the patron has selected a Museum and a specific day to attend,(the system will only offer the patron dates that are valid for the specific pass) they can the place a reservation using their Library Card number and a PIN Number. The system tracks all reservations and assigns passes on a first come - first serve basis. The staff is freed up from this process, patrons do it themselves when they want and from anywhere they want.

 | This removes a considerable administrative burden from the library staff and allows patrons to view the availability of passes and Request Holds when and where they choose via the Web. The system "understands" the passes's availability in terms of valid days of week, other patrons reservations, expiration date of pass, etc. |

| The system can be configured to control the number of times a patron can check out any single pass during a month and control the over all number of times a patron can check out all passes during a month. Museum Pass reservations can be optionally limited to Residents. | |

This combination will allow you to make reservations for any pass that is available. Note, all reservations will be removed from this demonstration system every Friday.
